Key Accountabilities:

  • Design and support Active Directory environments (950+ users) and manage Azure Entra ID accounts and permissions.
  • Storage and backup strategies to ensure data retention, disaster recovery readiness, and system availability.
  • Maintain messaging infrastructure, including Microsoft Exchange and message hygiene.
  • Act as SME in Microsoft Windows Server administration, cloud environments, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Xen).
  • Secure systems using CrowdStrike, Endpoint protection, encryption tools, and best practices.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for critical applications and infrastructure, including on-call availability.
  • Mentor helpdesk staff, contribute to audits, and support privacy and compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal clients to understand needs, provide solutions, and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly to non-technical audiences, ensuring understanding and alignment.
  • Participate in technical architecture design, vendor management, and RFP/RFQ processes.
  • Research and implement Proof of Concepts to explore emerging technologies

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience.
  • Proven expertise in Windows Server, virtualization, cloud administration, and enterprise storage.
  • MCSE certification and/or CompTIA designations preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
  • Experience with Agile or PMP project methodologies is a plus.
