Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Infrastructure Architect reports to the Agency’s Chief Technology Officer, providing support to the entire agency. This role encompasses managing technology infrastructure, application capacity planning, and infrastructure design for assigned projects. Additionally, the Infrastructure Architect contributes to enterprise standards and architecture, evaluates technologies, and supports IT governance. Furthermore, the Infrastructure Architect assumes responsibility for managing the process that ensures the proper control of IT assets required to deliver services. This process also entails providing accurate and reliable information about these assets when necessary. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS) Experience working with managed service providers (MSPs) and vendor-supported infrastructure Infrastructure planning, operations, design, and deployment Network and server administration Enterprise application deployment IT Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations Planning Service Asset and Configuration Management Knowledge of architectural and application design principles, patterns, and practices Familiarity with DevOps and Continuous Integration principles Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Preferred QualificationsPreference will be given to candidates with the following: Experience and knowledge of architectural and enterprise application design principles, patterns, and practices Job Related Requirements The position you are applying is subject to a Level 2 background check, along with Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) clearance, to include a fingerprint-based check of the criminal records of the FBI, as a condition of employment pursuant to Chapter 110.1127, 435 and 943, Florida Statutes.
