We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect Senior to assist as we continue moving into our Cloud 1st strategy. You will have the opportunity to build and design solutions to meet our business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION:

  • At least twelve (12) years of relevant experience driving architectural standards.
  • Experienced with Cisco, HPe compute, VMware, Pure Storage and Telcom based technologies.
  • Strong experience in architectural principles in the areas of on premise, cloud-native/hybrid-multi cloud architectures, container orchestration (kubernetes/OpenShift), microservices and operational best practices across one or more cloud offering Azure, AWS, GCP.
  • Experience supporting Azure cloud deployments is highly desired.
  • Strong experience with Security, virtualization, configuration and deployment models for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and Serverless.
  • Familiar with principles of network and information security.
  • Familiar with Cloud security and governance, CASB/SASE Framework, network virtualization technologies such as SDN.
  • Familiar with Health care Industry is a plus.
  • TOGAF Certification highly desired.
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience; MS degree preferred. Degree in Computer Science or related fields is desired.
Responsibilities
  • Role to support on premise multi data center and cloud initiatives for IS and the company.
  • Proposes new technologies, new technical and architectural strategies, and new processes to meet business challenges, in full consideration of their costs and benefits. Provides insights and new ways of looking at the business and technology that contribute to the strategic plans and directions of the enterprise.
  • Serves as a technical expert across multiple Infrastructure towers – other professionals in the field and industry seek out their expertise to resolve problems and expand their own technical expertise.
  • Develops highly sophisticated technology plans to support the business that requires the integration of multiple domains, addressing the interrelationships of multiple systems, and serving diverse clients.
  • Define and maintain architectural standards and principles.
  • Solves problems that have unique and/or broad implications for the technology architecture.
  • This role is typically the top of the escalation path to resolve the most complex technical problems.
  • Directs and leads the architectural planning of projects that are highly critical to the future of the organization. Consistently leads projects in a self-motivated and self-guided way.
  • Provides recommendations for investment in new products and technology solutions, supported by appropriate ROI, total cost of ownership, and/or cost benefit analyses partnering with appropriate AHC colleagues.
  • Possesses deep expertise in Infrastructure and system modeling skills in order to effectively document and analyze proposed architectures across the enterprise.
  • Design ACFC platforms based on hybrid and multi-cloud (Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud) solutions to deliver new applications and capabilities in a cost-effective manner.
  • Ability to enhance Hybrid Cloud sustainability strategy as the business evaluates integrating technologies through potential automation of solution exchanges but not limited to include Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
  • Experienced in design/support of Containerized solutions.
