WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a candidate with experience in coordinating and supporting in the management and successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate would have experience working in a railway environment previously and have a good understanding of railway operations. We are looking for a candidate who has strong IT skills and is comfortable with Microsoft working packages and project management and reporting tools. Experience of using the Neptune system would be an advantage. Candidates should have great interpersonal and facilitation skills with a passion for organising, planning and engaging with stakeholders to deliver projects to specification.

As an Infrastructure Change Training Interface Coordinator, you will work within the Operational Interface & Safety Change team in the Major Projects Directorate to ensure the successful and safe delivery and implementation of infrastructure change schemes at TPE. A key aspect of the role will be supporting the team in the readiness of training and briefing materials for our front-line staff following changes brought about by the TransPennine Route Upgrade (TRU) - a programme of enhancement works to the railway network in the North of England. It is a consolidated programme of improvements and upgrades between Manchester Victoria & York via Stalybridge which will provide the capability to support future service aspirations on the route.
This role will include communication with internal and external stakeholders to agree training requirements, materials production and timescales; collation and dissemination of materials to local depots; monitoring, tracking and reporting training material production ensuring that service level agreements are being met. There will also be the requirement to assist in writing, proof-reading and formatting documents/reports, recording minutes and actions in meetings, raising purchase orders and general administrative duties.
