Wij ontwerpen, bouwen, beheren en moderniseren informatiesystemen waar de wereld iedere dag van afhankelijk is. Dat doen we onder andere voor onze klant het Ministerie van Defensie. Daar bouwen we aan een compleet vernieuwde IT-infrastructuur, waardoor de krijgsmacht een hoogwaardige en informatiegestuurde organisatie kan blijven. Wat ga je als IT Architect bij Defensie doen? Jij helpt onze klant, het Ministerie van Defensie, bij het opleveren van grootschalige IT-projecten en het introduceren van innovaties. Als IT Architect ben je de spil tussen de functionele behoefte van de eindgebruiker en de technische oplossing van de IT-afdeling. Je vertaalt eisen in oplossingen, waarbij je verschillende alternatieven overweegt en je keuzes vastlegt. Hiervoor stem je vaak af met de opdrachtgever, andere architecten en product specialisten. Je staat open voor de inbreng van anderen, maar begrijpt het belang van werken onder architectuur en bent in staat om verschillende inzichten te verenigen. Je denkt in kansen en oplossingen, en verliest daarbij de risico’s en impact niet uit het oog. Je ondersteunt de Domein Architect bij het integrale ontwerp van de IT Services en bent verantwoordelijk voor delen van de oplossing. Je verantwoordelijkheden bestaan uit het: Ontwerpen en implementeren van complexe IT-oplossingen. Documenteren van de oplossing. Begeleiden van project- & supportteams tijdens de realisatie. Bewaken van de integrale architectuur. Communiceren van technische oplossingen aan niet-technische stakeholders We verwachten dat je innovatief bent en op strategisch en conceptueel niveau de juiste ontwerpen kunt maken. Je brengt ook voldoende detail aan om deze ontwerpen om te zetten naar realiteit. Waar ga je werken? Als jouw nieuwe thuisbasis zijn er verschillende werklocaties binnen Defensie waar gewerkt wordt in het midden van het land. Deels thuiswerken behoort tot de mogelijkheden. Ook zal je af en toe op kantoor bij Kyndryl Nederland in Hoofddorp werken, waar onze Kyndryl Social Club regelmatig informele en inspirerende activiteiten organiseert. Belangrijk om te weten: om voor Defensie te mogen werken moet je in het bezit zijn van een Nederlands paspoort en een VGB-B veiligheidsscreening doorlopen. Wat bieden wij? Een bruto maandsalaris van minimaal €5.744 tot €7.539. Het salarisaanbod kan dit bereik eventueel overschrijden, afhankelijk van de vaardigheden en capaciteiten die je meebrengt naar het team. Who You Are Welke kennis en ervaring breng je mee? Jouw focus ligt op de performance, beschikbaarheid, schaalbaarheid en (door)ontwikkeling van de IT Infrastructuur Services. Daaronder vallen de servers, opslag, netwerk, middleware en private cloud diensten. Algemene eisen: Minimaal 3-5 jaar ervaring als IT Architect in grote IT-projecten; Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels; Ervaring met architectuurmodellen en -methodieken; Technische leider en teamspeler, maar ook zelfvoorzienend en zelfstandig kunnen werken. Leergierig en adaptief. Belangrijkste Verantwoordelijkheden: Oplossingsontwerp: Ontwikkel uitgebreide IT-architecturen die hardware, software, netwerken en gegevensbeheersystemen integreren. Zorg ervoor dat oplossingen schaalbaar, veilig en kosteneffectief zijn. Technische Expertise: Heb een diepgaand begrip van meerdere IT-domeinen, waaronder (private)cloud computing, cybersecurity, netwerken, databases en softwareontwikkeling. Op de hoogte van de nieuwste technologieën en trends in de industrie. Projectmanagement: Coördineer met verschillende belanghebbenden, waaronder ontwikkelaars, ingenieurs en bedrijfsleiders. Probleemoplossing: Analyseer complexe bedrijfsproblemen en ontwerp IT-oplossingen om deze aan te pakken. Los technische problemen op en los ze op in verschillende IT-systemen. Documentatie en Standaarden: Maak gedetailleerde documentatie voor IT-architecturen en oplossingen. Zorg voor naleving van industrie standaarden en best practices. Gewenste certificeringen Nutanix Certified Professional – Multicloud Infrastructure (NCP-MCI) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – Security Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) TOGAF 9 Certification Bekend met concepten/protocollen als: QoS, PKI, HTTP/HTTPS, SMPT, DNS, DNSSEC, NTP, SIP, LDAP, XMPP, BGP.
