We provide cloud focused delivery services on areas such as hybrid cloud, workplace services, security, and cloud service management/delivery. So, if you like scaling to new heights and working with the latest AWS solutions then you’ll slot right in.   Responsibilities include: Utilise Microsoft and Amazon best practices across cloud + on-premises implementations Managing Hyper-V Hosts, building, deploying and migrating VM’s Work with Project Managers on technical project tasks and deliverables Drive continuous improvement and reduction in manual effort by automating deployments and configuration updates Execution of application and/or platform changes, releases, and service requests in supported environments Root cause analysis and service improvement solutions Liaise with appropriate teams for development of corrective actions or viable workarounds to resolve major incidents Adhere to ITIL guidelines for Incident, Problem, and Change Management Ensure all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures Job Description - Grade Specific   Knowledge and understanding of the AWS Well Architected Framework Experience with AWS Landing Zone and AWS Control Tower environments Strong experience with core AWS services, such as: Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) AWS Service Catalog Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) AWS Transit Gateway (TGW) AWS Lambda AWS Identity and Access Management AWS Elastic Load Balancing Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Delivery methodologies, using tools such as: CloudFormation, Terraform and AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) AWS CodeDeploy, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline and Azure DevOps Familiarity with Automation and Configuration Management tools and platforms, such as: Ansible & AWX Chef Puppet Minimum 10 years Microsoft infrastructure deployment and operational support experience Strong Level 3 Wintel experience Public Key infrastructure experience VMWare VCP Hands on experience with Exchange, SCOM and Powershell Exchange and O365 administration experience Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and Software as a Service ITIL Foundations v4 Certification Strong scripting skills to support automation efforts (Powershell) Installation and Maintenance of Cisco, Dell and HPE Enclosures and Servers Build, Upgrade and Management of Windows Server - 2003-2022 Active Directory, Certificate Services (ADCS), Federation Services (ADFS), DNS, DHCP, DFS, Group Policy, FIM/MIM, File and Print services. VMware vSphere vCentre including HA, DRS and SRM Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Microsoft 365 and Azure AD including Authentication, Identity and Security services.
