DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise Windows Server and Linux environments, including patching, system hardening, and configuration management.
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure services (AWS and/or Azure), with practical experience in deploying and managing cloud-native workloads.
This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold or be able to obtain an NV-1 level security clearance.
YOUR NEW ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a senior member of a technically mature and inclusive team, the Infrastructure and Cloud Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the performance, stability, and security of hybrid infrastructure environments that span both on-premises and cloud platforms. This is a dynamic, hands-on position where you will solve infrastructure challenges, contribute to service resilience, and enable secure, high-availability operations, while also mentoring others, sharing knowledge, and driving continuous improvement.
You will work across traditional data centre technologies and modern cloud-native services, supporting virtualisation, storage, networking, databases, and cloud orchestration layers. You’ll also contribute to secure-by-design operating models and enterprise tooling, helping to shape how infrastructure is maintained, optimised, and evolved to meet future demands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide advanced support across hybrid platforms, including Windows/Linux servers, virtualisation technologies, cloud platforms, enterprise databases, and enterprise backup solutions.
Manage and optimise on-premises infrastructure components such as server compute, storage, and networking services and infrastructure.
