POSITION SUMMARY

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for overseeing patch management operations, vulnerability remediation, Intune application packaging, and compliance reporting across a hybrid IT environment. This role requires expertise in Windows Server patching, workstation patching using Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and BigFix, along with the ability to integrate security vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7.
The successful candidate will work closely with our service delivery team to ensure timely and effective patch deployments, minimize security risks, streamline application deployments, and maintain system integrity for our clients.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT patch management, vulnerability remediation, or endpoint security.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Windows 10/11 patching.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and BigFix.
  • Strong experience with Intune application packaging, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability management tools (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar).
  • Experience with Power BI dashboards and patch compliance reporting.
  • Familiarity with change management and ITIL frameworks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot patching and application deployment failures and deploy remediation strategies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certifications in Microsoft (MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent), ITIL, or CISSP.
  • Experience working in Managed Services or enterprise IT environments.
  • Knowledge of Azure security and cloud patching best practices.
