THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE AN EXPERIENCED SELF-STARTER WITH:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of on-premise and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Bicep).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.
  • Experience working with remote teams and using remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or similar.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Manage and maintain on-premises servers, networks, and cloud-based resources.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Bicep.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure the reliability and availability of infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to integrate and optimise infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance protocols.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal teams.
  • Communicate effectively with remote team members to ensure seamless collaboration and project execution.
  • Participate in regular virtual meetings and use collaboration tools to stay connected with the team.
