Description

For our business partner, one of the largest integrators of IT and physical security solutions for national and European critical infrastructure, we are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the Data Center infrastructure, such as servers, network, cabling, virtualization, cloud, and platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage the infrastructure, including servers, storage, SAN, and virtualization.
  • Ensure infrastructure availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Implement and manage data backup and recovery solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and relevant certifications.
  • Collaborate with other teams to support business goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in implementing projects with data center technologies.
  • Experience with VMware, Hyper-V or OpenStack virtualization.
  • Experience with Dell/EMC, NetApp, and Fujitsu storage.
  • Experience with Dell, Cisco, and Lenovo servers.
  • Experience with Cisco and Brocade SAN networks.
  • Experience with UNIX / Linux or Windows Server operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies such as AD, Exchange, or DHCP
  • Deployment of CUCM solutions (Cisco Unified communication, Web Proxy)
  • Experience in hardware configuration
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud computing solutions.
  • Knowledge of Ansible, Puppet, or Chef automation solutions.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization and container orchestration solutions.
  • Knowledge of backup solutions.
  • Ability to solve problems logically and analytically.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
  • Relevant certifications include VMware VCP, Cisco CCNP DC, NCDA, or similar.
