📌 About the Position We are seeking a highly versatile Infrastructure Engineer able to operate effectively across two core domains: Network Engineering (primary focus) Datacenter Operations (significant component of the role) This hybrid technical position is ideal for a candidate who feels equally comfortable troubleshooting routing protocols and VLANs as they are replacing hardware in a datacenter rack. You might spend a morning diagnosing BGP or configuring VLAN segmentation, and an afternoon at a datacenter installing new GPU servers or replacing a power supply unit. The role combines logical network design with hands-on physical infrastructure work. Although the role is remote-first, the position requires: 1 mandatory in-office day per month in Basilea (Switzerland) Regular travel to datacenters (e.g., Basel, Zurich) for installations, upgrades, and emergency on-site interventions You will join a small, highly skilled engineering team working in an innovation-driven environment, immersed in complex challenges at the intersection of infrastructure and AI. 📌 About our Client Our client operate large-scale GPU infrastructure based on NVIDIA enterprise platforms, supporting: AI training & inference High-performance computing Distributed cluster deployments High-speed interconnect networks Automated, GitOps-driven infrastructure pipelines This role offers a unique opportunity to work across the entire infrastructure stack, from physical datacenter operations to enterprise networking and automation. Solid expertise with networking hardware and physical datacenter environments.
