Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a hybrid Infrastructure Engineer to join an innovative and exciting healthcare company in Columbia, Maryland.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER:

• 8-10+ years of experience with Vmware/Hyper-V infrastructure
• Experience in IT infrastructure engineering or systems engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Design, deploy, and maintain hybrid infrastructure solutions (on-prem + cloud).
• Architect scalable and secure systems using Microsoft technologies and Azure services.
• Evaluate and implement virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) as needed.
• Manage Exchange Server (on-prem and hybrid) and Microsoft 365 mail services.
• Use Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation.
• Optimize Azure resources (VMs, storage, networking, etc.).
