Description POSITION SUMMARY The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, managing, and implementing cloud services and infrastructure within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create robust cloud frameworks, overseeing technical workloads, and ensuring the seamless integration of private and public cloud computing services. The Infrastructure Engineer will leverage their skills in public and private clouds to optimize system performance, enhance security, and support the organization's digital transformation initiatives. Additionally, this position will also help support the on-premises environment, ensuring seamless operations and integration between cloud and on-premises systems. This position requires a strong background in cloud infrastructure and network administration. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Oversee all aspects of Cloud Infrastructure currently on AWS and Azure Designs and engineers’ platforms for enterprise infrastructure. Manages internal projects from requirements gathering to post-implementation Ensure performance optimization for mission critical services and perform all backup and disaster recovery actions. Understand the financial aspects and costs of delivering technology solutions, and engineering solutions that align with the organization’s business model. Proactively improves quality and efficiency through the automation of processes. Stay current with new technology options and vendor products, evaluating which ones would be a good fit for the company. Recommend process and architecture improvements. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across all platforms and application domains. Experience with supporting containerized services in production. Manage and maintain AWS API Gateways to ensure efficient and secure API operations. Experience with AWS RDS, including setup and maintenance of relational databases. Administer and manage Office 365 services, ensuring optimal performance and security. . WHAT WE LOOK FOR Education and Experience: BS/BA in related discipline and a minimum of 7 years of experience in related field. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the workforce. Cloud Expertise: Experience with both AWS, Azure Cloud Environments. Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in the following technological areas: Servers Monitoring & Alerting Tools Network Active Directory Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Automation Backup SSO VMware Office365 Preferred cloud certifications.
