As we accelerate innovation including AI assisted tooling and enhanced mobile features, we’re looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and automation systems that power our applications. This role combines the responsibilities of an Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer, ensuring our environments are scalable, secure, and fully automated from code to production. As the primary owner of our platform infrastructure, you will also be responsible for responding to critical production incidents (P1 issues). You will work closely with the development, QA, and security teams to create a reliable, automated platform for continuous delivery and innovation. Job Description Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Management: Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure to support production, staging, and development environments. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure using tools Automation & CI/CD: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, and deployment processes. Monitoring & Observability: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.) to ensure high availability and performance. Security & Compliance: Manage cloud security and ensure compliance with company and industry standards. Collaboration: Work with developers to create infrastructure solutions that accelerate software delivery and improve reliability. On-Call Responsibility: Serve as the primary on-call engineer for P1 (critical production) issues. You will respond to high-priority incidents impacting system availability or business-critical services. On-call duties are limited to critical issues only, supported by monitoring, alerting, and documented escalation procedures. Appropriate support and compensation will be provided. Cost Optimisation & Reliability: Monitor and optimise cloud resource usage to maintain cost efficiency and system stability. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering roles. Strong experience with cloud providers. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. Proficient in containers and orchestration. Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks. Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Understanding of GitOps principles and version-controlled infrastructure.
