JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Consultant to support and contribute to our Data Center Exit and Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) Foundation offerings. The ideal candidate will design and continuously improve the commercial and delivery kits, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to positioning our technical expertise in the market.
This role requires strong experience in cloud and application migration, infrastructure design, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments, particularly focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in:
  • Application & cloud migration projects
  • Infrastructure design and operations in VMware, Oracle, OpenStack, or hybrid cloud platforms
  • Proven experience in GCP service architecture, design, and delivery
  • Experience working in multi-cloud environments including VMware, AWS, Azure, OpenShift, and Oracle Cloud
  • Strong working knowledge of DevOps tools: GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, Terragrunt, Cloud Build
  • Solid understanding of database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server
  • Experience in cloud operations and security, especially in hybrid environments
  • Deep understanding of security protocols and technologies: OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, Active Directory, and PKI (Public Key Infrastructure)
  • Strong experience with networking concepts for hybrid environments: firewalling, routing, DNS
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cloud migration projects and mentoring teams
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in cloud infrastructure and integrate them into solutions as appropriate.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members where applicable.
