Job Title: Infrastructure Equity, Senior Associate Corporate Title: Senior Associate Business Unit: Global Infrastructure Equity Location: New York City As part of Barings’ newly formed and expanding Global Infrastructure Equity group, the Senior Associate will play a key role supporting the full investment lifecycle across core, core‑plus, and value‑add infrastructure opportunities. This is a hands‑on role with responsibility spanning financial modeling, diligence, execution support, sector research, and ongoing portfolio management, offering meaningful exposure as the platform continues to grow. Key Responsibilities: Lead detailed financial modeling and support third-party diligence coordination. Track emerging sector trends across power, transportation, energy, digital, and utility infrastructure Prepare screening memos, valuation views, and market research. Prepare Investment Committee materials and maintain data rooms. Support transaction documentation and negotiation under senior guidance. Assist with KPI dashboards, valuation files, and quarterly asset reporting. Collaborate cross-functionally and assist with capital-raising materials. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, with Business or Finance preferred. 3–5 years of relevant work experience in investment banking or private equity Experience in analyzing financial statements and conducting due diligence Advanced financial modeling skills Familiarity with sectors such as energy transition, digital infra, transportation, and utility infrastructure Project-finance modeling experience and infrastructure-specific metrics. Strong IC writing and presentation skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Preferred Qualifications: CFA/CAIA progress a plus Exposure to refinancings, bolt-ons, or asset-level KPIs.
