This position ensures that all technology platforms are secure, resilient, and aligned with the Bank’s business objectives. The role focuses on maintaining system availability, optimizing performance, and developing a capable technical team committed to service excellence and continuous improvement. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures the Bank’s infrastructure—servers, networks, and storage systems—operates securely, efficiently, and reliably to support business needs and regulatory requirements. Manages configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle administration of hardware, operating systems, and network components. Implements proactive monitoring, capacity management, and performance tuning processes to prevent service disruptions and maintain predictable system behavior. Develops and maintains procedures for system maintenance, data protection, backup, and disaster recovery to ensure integrity and availability. Coordinates with application, security, and support teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business requirements and service delivery expectations. Identifies and implements improvements in infrastructure efficiency, automation, and resiliency. Ensures timely response to incidents and problems, maintaining effective communication and documentation throughout the resolution process. Oversees vendor relationships and ensures third-party solutions meet performance, security, and service standards. Promotes technical skill development through mentoring, training, and performance feedback to support team growth and capability. Monitors emerging technologies and recommends solutions to enhance stability, scalability, and operational efficiency. Supports budgeting and resource planning by providing input on infrastructure needs, lifecycle replacements, and capacity forecasts. Performs other duties as assigned. QualificationsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, required. 7+ years’ experience in infrastructure or systems administration, including network and storage management, with leadership or team lead experience, required. Experience in the banking or financial services industry, preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Strong understanding of systems administration, networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies. Proven ability to maintain reliable, secure, and efficient infrastructure environments. Demonstrated commitment to service quality, operational discipline, and process improvement. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and collaboration across technical and business functions. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver consistent results in a dynamic environment.
