QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Strong experience managing and supporting Windows and Linux environments, virtualisation platforms and underlying infrastructure.
Familiarity with monitoring and eventing tools (VMware, Splunk, PRTG), and backup technologies such as Commvault.
This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold or be able to obtain an NV1 level security clearance.
YOUR NEW ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We’re looking for a cross-skilled Infrastructure Operations Engineer with a passion for server, platform, and database systems to work as part of a team responsible for delivering reliable, scalable, and secure services to our government customer.
You’ll be part of a cross-functional team supporting a range of services and components, while also providing your expertise and learning to the wider team for your specialist skills. The environment is dynamic, with a strong focus on resilience, automation, and service availability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll join a technically capable and cross-functional team that values open communication, knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning. Whether restoring services, optimising workloads, or implementing security baselines, you’ll play a key role in delivering reliable and secure platforms. As well as this you will:

Manage and maintain server SOEs and deployed operating environments (Windows/Linux), including patching, support, and automation improvements.
