Description

(The contract period will be six months with the possibility of renewal subject to review.) The Infrastructure Project Lead is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of critical infrastructure projects. This role oversees multiple projects ensuring alignment with business objectives, compliance standards, and operational excellence. The position requires strong leadership in managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver robust, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure solutions. You will be responsible for: leading complex infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives; mentoring and developing team members, promoting best practices in project delivery, technical excellence, and stakeholder management; developing integrated project plans, managing RAID logs, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget; overseeing technical design, implementation, and integration of network, directory, and IP management systems, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards; engaging and coordinating with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to define requirements, resolve issues, and drive project success; championing the adoption of modern infrastructure and automation practices, including Infrastructure-as-Code and continuous improvement initiatives; providing technical leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability; managing vendor relationships, contracts, and deliverables to ensure value and accountability; maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including charters, designs, test plans, and post-implementation reviews; producing executive dashboards and concise status reports for senior management and steering committees; and performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority. You should: possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or MSc in Information Systems Management is an advantage; have 12+ years of IT infrastructure project management experience, with a proven track record in delivering large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects across diverse industries; possess PMP (Project Management Professional) and ITIL certifications preferred; demonstrate experience in leading cross-functional and geographically distributed teams in matrix organisations; have strong business acumen, with experience in budget planning, vendor management, and cost optimisation; and have excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills; fluent in English (Cantonese and Mandarin a plus).
