We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Security Operations Engineer to manage and maintain our server hardware, storage, virtualization, networking, and security systems. Our infrastructure is hosted in a datacenter and includes Proxmox VMs running Ubuntu, MySQL databases, LAN/WAN networks, Cloudflare configurations, and disk/storage management.
This role requires a hands-on expert who can proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize our systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in system administration, networking, and security.
• Expertise with Proxmox, Ubuntu, and MySQL database management.
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and Cloudflare.
• Experience with datacenter hardware, RAID, and storage solutions.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, etc.).
• Solid understanding of security best practices and threat mitigation.
• Ability to troubleshoot critical system issues under pressure.

  Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

Compensation Package:

• 1099 contract

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
