Read more: https://medium.com/@oredata-engineering Responsibilities Own the efficient elastic environment and infrastructure implementations, using cloud and/or on-premise environments such as GCP, Azure, Amazon Web Services, Cloudera, Kafka, ElasticSearch etc. deliver high quality technical work to demanding, diverse customers Implement cloud migration, landing zone, infrastructure automation, optimization, current customer projects Work with automation tools with terraform, ansible, puppet, cloud fabric framework etc. Make sure engineering and security best practices and methodologies are applied Work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including data engineers, business intelligence teams, software engineers and solution architects, to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that meet customer needs. Assist in defining technical scope, milestones, and deliverables for client projects. Proactively manage scope creep and communicate technical risks to project managers and stakeholders. Support the sales team by providing technical expertise during proposal phases (RFP/RFI), helping to design high-level architectures and estimate engineering effort. Experience with Containerization and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE/AKS/EKS) Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any other relevant engineering field. 7 to 12 years of working experience in a Senior Cloud/Systems/Infrastructure engineering capacity, preferably as a Senior/Staff/Principal Engineer At least 3 years of customer facing experience Broad experience with Infrastructure (e.g., IAAS (Infrastructure as a Service), PAAS (Platform as a Service)) Good understanding of agile processes, able to handle ambiguity, data oriented decision making Hands-on cloud migration experience is highly preferred Keep track of the latest industry trends and best practices Ability to quickly adapt to different client environments, toolstacks, and cultures Attention to detail and solution oriented mindset Great communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Get to know us If you want to know more about us and what we do, then visit our website: www.oredata.com Why Oredata?
