What you'll do as an Infrastructure Specialist 1: Installs, maintains, configures, upgrades &/or administers hardware &/or software independently in workstation support, server support, business continuity, information security support, telecommunications & network connectivity support, where technical work requires specific knowledge to evaluate, select, adapt & modify standard procedures. Diagnoses, analyzes & resolves issues for customer(s) in assigned single technology domain. Provides Tier II-III level customer support. Reviews & monitors enterprise systems. Takes appropriate action & responds to alarms/alerts per agency policy & procedure (e.g., anti-virus, spam). Serve as first contact for IT related emergencies 24X7 within various ODPS divisions (e.g., deploy to various DPS locations, troubleshoot IT issues, resolve identified issues &/or make recommendation for a resolution).
