Ohio Department of Public Safety - Ohio State Highway Patrol Report In Location - 1970 W Broad St, Columbus 43223 Primary Technology: Network Hardware Secondary Technology: Identity & Access Management, Wireless Perks of Working for the Ohio Department of Public Safety Multiple pay increases over the first years of service Free Parking Free Gym Access & Walking Path Daycare On-site Cafeteria On-site Receives direction from Network Services Supervisor (NSS) to independently install, monitor/maintain, configure, upgrade &/or administer/operate assigned multiple technology domains: Administers agency network circuit moves, adds & changes; Diagnoses, analyzes & resolves issues for Department of Public Safety (DPS), Automated Title Processing System (ATPS), Deputy Registrar (DR) agencies, Driver License Examination (DX) Stations networks & systems; Performs analysis using troubleshooting tools (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds, etc.) to determine the root cause of problems on systems & networks across assigned multiple technology domains; Provides Tier II-III support to DPS, external agencies & information system users; Using information technology service management software (e.g., ServiceNow), monitors, receives & resolves incidents for network, system, & application issues; Follows incident escalation processes; Develops & maintains system documentation & diagrams; Answers questions & presents informal mentorship opportunities to peers &/or lower-level staff via conversation, observation or technical documentation; Stays current regarding new technologies, standards & techniques; Attends training related to job duties; Performs other related duties as assigned.
