We are looking for an Infrastructure Specialist to support the IT and Operations team across TrustFord. Working closely with the IT Senior management to ensure our standards and policies are met, in some cases exceeded. You will be forthcoming in your approach, looking ahead and be proactive ensuring that the infrastructure and service provided is best in class. You will demonstrate positive and affective stakeholder and customer engagement.

This service is responsible for providing technical support, Windows Systems based operating systems implementation of and adherence to security policy, system availability. Working as part of the Infrastructure & Operations Team this role will have responsibility for ensuring all Infrastructure and Processing Services responsibilities are met for UK BU supported Servers. The role requires in depth practical knowledge of a wide range of Infrastructure & Back Office products. This role also involves offering advice and guidance to the customer and liaising with 3rd parties on support issues where appropriate.

  • Do you have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a support desk at a 3rd line capacity in technical support and infrastructure?
  • Do you have a qualification and strong experience in Microsoft technology stack, including configuring and managing O365?
  • Do you have expertise in Microsoft Cloud Services and in building and configuring virtual servers using Azure?
Responsibilities

DUTIES/QUALITIES INCLUDE:

  • Routine tasks need to be completed with limited supervision.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues to drive the standard in customer care.
  • Attending sites, town halls, meeting with General Managers to build rapport and to obtain feedback on support service offered.
  • Ensuring all incidents are updated in a regular, accurate and timely manner. Escalating incidents when required.
  • Perform systems administration activities such as performance tuning and data management.
  • Monitoring and reviewing quality of service delivered.
  • Interfacing directly with all service delivery teams on site.
  • Creation, update and maintenance of the technical knowledgebase and documentation.
  • Attending sites to support project role outs when required.
  • Customer Service skills applied to difficult users.
  • On call responsibilities within a pressurised support environment.
  • Implementation of a scheduled program of patching & firmware/software upgrades.

    This is a Hybrid role working on site and also from home (the first 3 months during probation will be worked from the office full time, you will then move on to hybrid working from month 4).
