Description
Intermediate Application Support provides technical and project support for plant IT applications and daily activities for the IT Complex. Assists in support of corporate IT sponsored application integration, change management, incident management and problem resolution, meeting the objectives of manufacturing while minimizing lost production due to IT related issues.   The functions and associated responsibilities of this position impact Manufacturing and IT at the plant on a daily basis. By executing and implementing existing standards and best practice solutions, the application support technician for the Complex aiding in a stable and robust environment for our manufacturing business partners.   Skills / Behaviors: * Must be self-directed and work independently * Ability to make tough calls working with bargaining and non-bargaining personnel * Ability to contribute to large complex projects * Ensure freedom of information with all levels of employees and management * Balance multiple demands from business partners and IT senior management * Exhibit strong business discipline and acumen * Build effective relationships across all levels of employees and management   Skills / Competencies: * Knowledge of IT manufacturing system applications and plant support * Knowledge of machine monitoring, performance and quality systems, component tracking, common plant and office network environments, engineering systems and identification systems * Experience working with Manufacturing Engineering to launch and integrate IT systems from concept to the production environment while following appropriate change management procedures. EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering /Computer Science or Information Technology (IT) related field is preferred. * Experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred * Project Management experience is a plus   #LI-DNI
