Description
We currently have a vacancy for an Infrastructure System Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site. Your tasks Manage and maintain on-premises IT systems, servers, and related services to ensure stability, performance, and security; Create and maintain user documentation for internally developed tools; Maintain governance documentation (PM2 methodology and ITSRM), including Project Charters, IT Security Plans, and Business Cases; Update and create pages for the organization’s internal website; Integrate and maintain interoperability between different web platforms; Test software and system updates; Plan and execute the migration of a local offline Windows network (7 virtual servers on Hyper-V, including Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server, and Veeam Backup). University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in IT; At least two years of experience in IT system administration, infrastructure management, or a related field; Experience creating and maintaining technical and end-user documentation; Experience in web development, including the use of PHP, Java, HTML, and XML; Experience in integrating and maintaining interoperability between different web platforms; Experience in updating PM2 documentation would be considered an asset; A PM² (Project Management Methodology) certification would be considered an asset; Excellent command of the English language, while fluency in French would be considered an asset.
