Infrastructure Systems Design Architect
Location: London Zone 1 – 2
Salary: £60,000/£70,000 + Benefits
As an Infrastructure Systems Design Architect, you will take initial Smart Buildings solution designs from the tender stage and develop them into actual on-site deliverables for the project delivery team and end client. The role demands an understanding of Smart Building technologies and experience working with infrastructure design for design and build projects.
Your responsibilities will include developing the designs for our tendered Smart Building proposals, bringing together all aspects of our technology portfolio, including structured cabling, electronic security, inbuilding cellular, audio-visual, active IT, passive IT and master system integrators (MSI).
You will be expected to produce documents such as technical submittals and requests for information (RFIs), prepare variation costs and ensure technical designs meet relevant standards and codes of practice.
The Infrastructure Systems Design Architect position involves direct client engagement through representation of at client meetings and, when required, the delivery of post-tender presentations. With the support of workstream technical service managers, you will contribute to technical designs across varying sectors, including, but not limited to, enterprise, hospitality, residential and data centres.
