Description

❖ Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and plan network systems and proposed infrastructure for the office, provide recommendations, and implement regular improvements.
  • Document and update network diagrams and configurations.
  • Maintain full knowledge and ongoing management of internal and external office networks, troubleshoot issues, understand systems and configurations, and ensure their availability to all users.
  • Continuously manage servers, applications, and virtual containers; maintain and update them; manage backup and storage systems.
  • Manage firewalls, update policies, and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Continuously optimize the performance of databases, networks, servers, and systems within the office environment.
  • Handle system integration and upgrades, ensuring proper deployment from development to testing, staging, and production environments.
  • Manage the data center and hosting environment, ensuring adequate capacity (Capacity Management).
  • Provide technical support and guidance to IT department staff.
  • Prepare reports and document procedures and periodic changes in infrastructure and networks.
  • Perform any other tasks related to the department’s work or assigned by the Department Manager.

❖ Requirements, Tasks, and Academic Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Networks, Computer Science, or equivalent, with at least 12 years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure, and system integration.
  • Expertise in various infrastructure technologies such as virtualization, containers, storage, databases, cloud environments, and IaaS, including:
  • Active Directory, IPS, FedNet, VMware, ESXi, vCenter, Exchange, VLANs, VDI, Cisco products, PaaS.
  • Experience with systems and solutions including: SD-WAN, WAF, VPN, WAN, LAN.
  • Proficiency in various operating systems: Windows, Windows Server, Linux, Unix, RedHat.
  • Familiarity with programming languages: JAVA, Python, .NET.
  • Understanding of frameworks such as ITIL, ISO 27001/002, UAE AI, and certifications like CISSP, Microsoft Azure, VMware, Cisco, ITIL, CSM, CC.
  • Professional certifications are required.
