BASIC KNOWLEDGE:

Web Server (IIS), Database (MSSQL), Web Application publishing, application performance monitoring (APM)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

At least 7 years proven experience as System engineer with comprehensive background of modern datacenter infrastructure (Azure Cloud, Windows & Linux systems, Networking, Web application & database support, security & vulnerability management exposure, etc.)

"NICE TO HAVE” EXPERIENCE:

Cybersecurity experience. Experience in an international company & team.

SOFT SKILLS:

Stress handling, leadership, team player, good communication, problem solving attitude, strong reporting skills. Good documentation writing skill.

Responsibilities

ROLE:

Reporting to the Global IT Director, you will act as the technical lead for Infrastructure activities but also be involved in SOC and IT Clients Operations activities. You will cover a large geographical scope with the APAC region (with datacenters hosted in Australia & Singapore) but also assist the US & EMEA teams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US

  • Part of the APAC IT team and member of the Global Infrastructure team (AMER, APAC, EMEA), with a close relationship with EMEA & AMER infrastructure team leads
  • Collaborate and contribute on infrastructure technical projects
  • Key contributor for the Build of APAC global infrastructure & clients infrastructure setup
  • Responsible for the quality of the datacenter operations for APAC region: operations preparation, communication, execution, etc.
  • Ensuring that we meet our SLA (availability & performance) and that vulnerability patching, incident closure, backups, logging, DRP and other IT operations are well managed
  • Ensure continuity between AMER closure and EMEA opening, and act as part of our follow the sun organization
  • Monitor infrastructure and applications, raise and follow up alerts with internal teams
  • Analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve servers, software, network and other potential IT build ; deployment issues
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues as they arise with ability to prioritize
  • Communicate and interact effectively with internal stakeholders and team members about the issues being troubleshoot
  • Support Project and Application Maintenance teams on our Commercial Cloud, and ITAR Platforms as functional & part time team member of APAC Client Ops team
  • Create proper documentation, diagrams and other detailed instructions and procedures qualifications
  • Enforce security protocols, and ensure system and network integrity
  • Develop/Suggest automation workflows improvements for repetitive and manual tasks
  • Part time activity with the SOC scope (SOC analyst role) especially to cover the Pacific time zone
