Infrastructure QA Lead – Chicago, IL
Lead and coordinate infrastructure quality assurance efforts for end-user computing changes and projects, including Windows, VPN, VDI, VMware, Exchange/Outlook, O365, and SharePoint. Ensure high-quality delivery for patching, upgrades, integrations, and emergency fixes while driving process improvements and automation to enhance stability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
 Develop test approaches, plans, and schedules; monitor execution and report on quality metrics. Coordinate and execute infrastructure testing for OS environments (Windows/Linux/Mac), virtualization, networking, and cloud integrations.
 Perform root cause analysis of failed changes and incidents; implement corrective actions.
 Mentor and guide end-user computing teams on QA best practices.
 Collaborate with application teams, change managers, and support teams to resolve issues.
 Maintain documentation, test scripts, and automation assets for repeatable, reliable QA cycles.

 Windows/Linux/Mac OS patching/upgrades
 VMware, Citrix VDI, cloud (Azure, Kubernetes, Docker)
 Microsoft O365 suite (Exchange, Outlook, SharePoint)
 ITIL service management tools (ServiceNow, Remedy)
 Agile/Scrum and project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira)
