We are looking for: We are looking for an experienced Infusion Intake Coordinator with a strong background in infusion and injectable specialty medications. The right candidate knows how to navigate complex insurance benefits, secure and appeal prior authorizations, and connect patients with financial assistance programs including manufacturer copay cards, PAPs, and foundation grants. Responsibilities: Initiate and manage prior authorizations for infusion and injectable specialty drugs across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plans Investigate benefits and determine whether drugs fall under medical or pharmacy benefit Submit PA appeals and support peer-to-peer review requests Enroll patients in copay assistance programs, PAPs, and foundation grants; navigate copay accumulator/maximizer impacts Collaborate with providers, payers, specialty pharmacies, and infusion centers Maintain accurate documentation in EHR and hub platforms (e.g., CoverMyMeds, ConnectiveRx) Perform other duties as assigned Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental Insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Requirements 2+ years in prior authorization or benefits coordination for specialty medications Hands-on experience with infusion and/or injectable biologics or specialty therapies Strong knowledge of copay assistance programs, PAPs, and accumulator programs Familiarity with both medical and pharmacy benefit structures Experience in a specialty pharmacy, infusion center, or physician office preferred
Responsibilities
