Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse I to join our healthcare team. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with established medical protocols and procedures. This role involves providing professional nursing services across various healthcare settings, working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective treatment and patient wellness. Responsibilities: Assess and monitor patients’ health status, including vital signs, physical conditions, and symptoms Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed Observe and report patients’ responses to treatments and procedures Provide care in both routine and acute clinical situations Assist with diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications, and preventive health measures Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain peripheral IV lines Administer medications for Infectious Diseases, Rheumatology, Oncology, and IVIG, including mixing and IV insertion Support patients with medical equipment and home care instructions Collaborate with care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Respond to emergencies with appropriate nursing interventions (e.g., CPR) Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards Adhere to infection control practices and healthcare regulations Participate in quality improvement initiatives Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Follow up on patient phone calls and voicemails, and document Schedule appointments, prepare charts, and verify insurance benefits Travel to other CLS Health locations as needed Perform other duties as assigned Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental Insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build effective relationships with patients, physicians, and staff Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA Strong organizational and documentation skills Capable of making independent nursing decisions Ability to work under stress and maintain professionalism Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program Current RN license in Texas Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred Clinical or hospital experience preferred
