Job Description Hybrid: For this position, employees are required to be on site 3 times per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Service Engineer What you will do (Responsibilities): Provide vehicle diagnostic and repair support, acting as an escalation point for complex technical cases. Diagnose issues and direct repair solutions on customer vehicles to reduce vehicle repurchases and warranty costs. Support product problem resolution and provide territory management assistance. Deliver dealership service readiness feedback and support Techline products at GM Dealerships and authorized facilities, including selected GM Fleet accounts. Manage and analyze critical customer cases, focusing on commercial and legal solutions. Monitor and manage area KPIs aligned with annual planning objectives. Demonstrate and promote GM values and cultural behaviors, holding self and others accountable. Perform other related duties as assigned. Your skills and abilities (Required Qualifications): Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office. Intermediate English level (written and conversational). Valid driver’s license. Availability to travel locally approximately once per month (frequency may vary based on business needs). Availability to travel internationally up to twice per year (frequency may vary based on business needs). Availability to work in Ciudad Empresarial, Santiago, Chile, under a hybrid work model (3 days onsite per week). What can give you a competitive edge (Preferred Qualifications): Knowledge of data analysis tools, particularly Power BI. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location at least 3 times a week {or other frequency dictated by their manager}. The selected candidate will be required to travel on a regular basis (25-50%) for this role. This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
