We are recognized as the world-wide Centre of Excellence in the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) of Rolls-Royce Business Aircraft engines, having serviced over 6,300 engines that fly around the globe in the business and private jet sector. At our facility in Lachine, we currently have 600 employees. We’re seeking skilled and driven technical individuals to join our tight-knit team and assist us in achieving our ambitious growth plan. This plan is crucial for us to remain at the forefront of our clients’ needs and to continuously innovate.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Help manage Rolls Royce Canada Project management office (PMO) activities.
  • Plan and manage an improvement program with appropriate levels of governance.
  • Engage and Implement – Kaizen/Improvement activities.
  • Be a positive and proactive agent for change.
  • Demonstrate effective and professional good behaviors.
  • Lean/Improvement processes.
  • Eliminate waste and non-value add activity.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment within operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or an equivalent Degree with experience related to the field.
  • Member or eligible for Membership to the Quebec Order of Engineers (CPI is acceptable)
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Project Management experience.
  • Production orientated focus to help the business to attain their annual objectives.
  • Knowledge in production line balancing concepts and Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
  • High level of autonomy and good practical sense.
  • Advocate for change management - experience in managing/leading people and or leading change.
  • Strong communication skill at all levels.
  • Experience in data analysis

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • PMP certification is an asset.
  • Knowledge of SAP software is an asset.
  • Simulation software experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge in the manufacturing processes of the aviation industry and MRO services is an asset.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization SW (Python or Power BI or Tableau…)
  • Six Sigma certified: green or black belt
