- Membre de l’OIQ
- Minimum 2 ans d’expérience dans l’industrie pharmaceutique
- Connaissance de l’automatisation (PLC/HMI)
- Connaissance des systèmes HVAC et des conceptions mécaniques
- Minimum 1 an d’expérience sur le terrain
- Connaissance des BPF dans l’industrie pharmaceutique et des règlements en matière de santé et de sécurité, un atout
- Bilingue : français et anglais (écrit et parlé)

Job Overview
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Plant Engineer is responsible for ensuring manufacturing activities (mainly equipment and processes) are functioning properly and efficiently. This includes providing support to manufacturing activities (radioactive and non-radioactive) by leading equipment and facility troubleshooting, answering manufacturing queries. The plant engineer will also be responsible of building and equipment improvement projects, which will improve manufacturing day-to-day activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Expertise :
- Provide technical expertise and input by leading complex equipment and facility troubleshooting in collaboration with the supplier when appropriate
- Lead autonomously the cross-functional teams for facility and equipment improvement projects to ensure delivery of projects
- Build and maintain extensive technical knowledge and expertise for all JDI products (cold and hot products), processes, equipment, etc.
- Prepare and participate to call for tenders for assigned projects, if applicable.
- Provide updates to preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration work instructions to ensure optimization of PM and calibration programs.
- Create Change Control, and participate in investigations and CAPAs related to process, equipment and facilty improvement/implementation.
- Supports colleagues and teams in various cross-functional projects/initiatives or due diligence efforts requiring technical skills or validation support.
Project Management :
- Lead cross-functional teams, meetings and follow-up on actions regarding assigned projects
- Support the implementation and extensive use of project management tools and processes, good engineering practices (GEPs), risk assessments (e.g. FMEA), continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques
- Manage, plan, and implement, in collaboration with different departments, the installation or modification of assigned projects for equipment or building utilities
- Implement new technologies and/or manage design modification for Radio Safety and product quality improvements as part of portfolio expansions and improvement objectives.
- Ensure that all design documentation meets internal and external requirements.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by Management.

- Responsible for the application and respect of Radio Safety rules and regulations by his contractors, if applicable
