Au nom de notre client dans le secteur de la Gestion de patrimoine, Procom recherche un Ingénieur de données pour un poste contractuel de 12 mois. Ce poste est un poste à distance avec possibilité de déplacements occasionnels à Montréal.

INGÉNIEUR DE DONNÉES - DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

Le projet concerne l’augmentation du volume de projets et le redressement de certains aspects du secteur Wealth. Les ingénieurs de données participeront à la mise en place de la stratégie de données pour contribuer au développement du secteur. Le choix technologique n’étant pas encore définitif, le projet nécessite des professionnels polyvalents capables d’apprendre et de s’adapter à différents contextes liés aux données.

INGÉNIEUR DE DONNÉES/DATA ENGINEER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves increasing the volume of projects and addressing certain aspects within the Wealth sector. Data Engineers will participate in implementing the data strategy to contribute to the sector’s development. The technological choice is not yet finalized, requiring versatile professionals who can learn and adapt to various data-related contexts.

INGÉNIEUR DE DONNÉES/DATA ENGINEER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • 10+ years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
  • Advanced knowledge of data management best practices
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Experience with GCP, particularly its data products
  • GCP certification in data engineering and data architecture
  • Proactivity and autonomy
  • Adaptability

INGÉNIEUR DE DONNÉES/DATA ENGINEER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of wealth management or investment in general
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Experience with Big Query
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Supervise the design of high-level data pipeline infrastructure for the GCP Dealer Services platform.
  • Lead discussions with external development partners on detailed design to ensure quality and scalability.
  • Conduct code reviews with external development partners.
  • Define data loading strategies for new sources and adapt existing sources to new business requirements.
  • Be responsible for the data testing framework and elevate it to a higher level.
  • Collaborate with the data architect to implement data contracts for both ingestion and publication.
  • Integrate data pipelines with related tools such as schedulers and CI/CD processes.
  • Facilitate the implementation of best data management practices by optimizing the use of data platform tools supporting quality, cataloging, and traceability.
  • Provide data integration strategies with various platforms, both on-premise and in the cloud.
  • Contribute to the development of cloud governance, including cost management strategies.
