RAISON D’ÊTRE DE LA FONCTION

Sous la supervision du Directeur Commercial, le titulaire sera responsable d’effectuer des soumissions, de gérer les commandes durant le processus d’exécution et d’agir comme point de contact principal entre les clients, les équipes internes (ventes, production, finance) et les partenaires externes, tout en assurant la rentabilité, la qualité et le respect des délais et toutes autres tâches connexe.

RESPONSABILITIES

· Respond to client inquiries, prepare and send quotations — read specifications, understand needs, select the right product, and develop a winning strategy
· Follow up on ongoing quotations to increase hit rate
· Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure
· Identify commercial and operational risks, propose mitigation plans
· Coordinate with internal teams (sales, production, finance, quality)
· Communicate any changes to clients and ensure rigorous follow-up
· Monitor margins, costs, and budget variances to avoid margin slippage
· Prepare and lead project review meetings with internal and external stakeholders
· Collect needed information from clients to ensure smooth project execution
· Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking activities
· Develop and maintain business relationships with current and potential clients

SKILLS

· Bilingual: excellent command of French and English – the incumbent will communicate with English and French-speaking clients
· Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
· Good priority management
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines and objectives
