We’re looking for a Project Engineer for our Matawinie mining project in Saint-Michel-des-Saints.

YOUR SKILLS PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, industrial, mining, or any other relevant field).
• Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years managing industrial or mining construction projects.
• Very good knowledge of project management processes (planning, estimating, cost control, risk management).
• Proficiency with computer-based project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.) and technical software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).

• Plan, execute and monitor multidisciplinary engineering projects for the mine-site construction.
• Uphold compliance with schedules, budgets, quality standards and technical requirements.
• Liaise between the design and construction teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Perform on-site monitoring of the construction and carry out technical inspections.
• Manage technical modifications, change requests and impact analyses.
• Prepare and review progress reports, technical documents and meeting minutes.Take over certain duties when the Director, Construction is away
