Description
Supporte la formation des collègues junior au sein de l'équipe. Designs complex power systems product features by the development of algorithms and calculation methods. Participates in all new product development phases: specification analysis, research and prototype, design documentation, support software development team during implementation, testing and user documentation. Collaborates with the software developers' team during the development cycle. Collaborates with the quality assurance team to identify software quality gaps and for testing automation. Provides 2nd level technical support for users. Supports the coaching of junior colleagues. Provides power systems expertise in new product development. Diplôme d'études universitaire en génie électrique ou l'équivalent d'un établissement agréé. Minimum de 5 années d'expérience pertinente au poste. La maîtrise du français et de l'anglais pour communiquer avec des collègues, client, et partenaires en dehors du Québec, ainsi que comprendre la documentation technique du domaine. Diplôme universitaire de l'Institut de génie électrique (IGEE). Connaissance des logiciels de simulation des réseaux électriques (par exemple CYME, EMTP). Connaissances en mathématiques: algèbre linéaire et calculs numériques. Connaissance du langage de programmation : Python, y compris la familiarité avec l'analyse et la manipulation de données à l'aide de bibliothèques Python telles que Pandas, NumPy et Matplotlib. Expérience avec la création d'engins de simulation ou de calcul (ex.: MATLAB, AutoCAD, EMTP). Provides quality work and demonstrates a great attention to details. Works collaboratively and demonstrates strong communication skills. Works efficiently and demonstrates strong problem-solving capabilities. University degree in electrical engineering or related from an accredited institution. Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant role. Fluency in French and English is required for this position to communicate with colleagues, customers, and partners located inside and outside of Quebec, as well as to understand technical documentation in the field of our industry. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now or in the future. No relocation offered for this position. Candidates must reside within 80km of Brossard, Québec, Canada. University graduate degree in electrical engineering. University degree from the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering (IEPE). Knowledge in power systems software (e.g. CYME, EMTP). Knowledge in mathematics: linear algebra and numerical calculations.
