QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diplôme en génie civil/structure avec titre de OIQ (obligatoire) et P.Eng. (un atout).
  • Minimum d’un an d’expérience en conception structurale.
  • Excellente communication orale et écrite.
  • Sens aigu du détail et capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités.
  • Capacité à travailler sous pression et à respecter les échéances.
  • Maîtrise des logiciels AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Word, Excel et logiciels d’analyse structurale.
  • Connaissance approfondie des codes et normes de l’ingénierie structurale canadienne et américaine.
  • Attitude positive et éthique de travail solide.

Groupe SBSE is a multidisciplinary engineering firm specializing in energy, structure, environment, and accessibility. We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our team and contribute to diverse projects in the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with OIQ designation (mandatory) and P.Eng. designation (a plus).
  • Must be fully bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design within Quebec.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Word, Excel, and structural analysis software.
  • Familiarity with Canadian and American structural engineering codes and standards.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

    Pay: $75,000.00-$150,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Perform structural analysis and design for building components, including commercial, residential, and industrial structures.
  • Prepare detailed structural and foundation drawings along with specifications.
  • Conduct site visits and prepare structural inspection reports.
  • Perform hand calculations in compliance with Canadian and American engineering standards.
  • Ensure site compliance with design requirements and attend meetings with contractors and clients.
  • Design and analyze steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures.
  • Review and approve shop drawings.
  • Sketch structural details and sections as needed.
  • Prepare proposals, studies, and technical reports.
