JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

En tant qu’Ingénieur Manufacturier, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans le support et l’optimisation des processus de production des équipements, en particulier des disjoncteurs haute tension. Vous veillerez à assurer la conformité technique des produits et à améliorer l’efficacité des opérations de fabrication.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and optimizing production processes for equipment, particularly high-voltage circuit breakers. You will ensure product compliance with technical requirements while improving manufacturing efficiency.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10 years of experience in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
• Strong skills in reading, interpreting, and analyzing technical drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of supply chain cycles, manufacturing processes, and industrial operations.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (preferably SAP) and relevant modules.Knowledge of high-voltage circuit breakers is a major asset.

• Coordinate technical issues in production and provide support to controllers and assemblers.
• Provide technical expertise to bidding, procurement, project management, and production teams.
• Ensure configuration and parameterization of parts in SAP (BOM, routing sheets, etc.).
• Actively participate in the implementation of the manufacturing model.
• Support the investigation of internal & external non-conformities.
• Assist suppliers with technical aspects of products.
• Ensure effective liaison with engineering centers of excellence.
• Serve as a specialist in production-related measurement and assembly equipment.
