QUALIFICATIONS

· Diplôme technique en génie mécanique ou équivalent et 6 à 10 ans d’expérience pertinente
· Bonne compréhension des principes du train d’atterrissage et des méthodologies des systèmes associés
· Bonne compréhension des composants hydromécaniques, électriques et électromécaniques
· Capacité à comprendre les dépendances des composants du système, les problèmes techniques complexes et à travailler en équipe et dans un environnement axé sur le client.
· Bonne connaissance de Catia V5
· Maîtrise de la suite MS Office ;

QUALIFICATIONS

· Technical degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent and 6 to 10 years of relevant experience
· Good understanding of Landing Gear principals and associated systems methodologies
· Good understanding of hydromechanical, electrical and electromechanical components
· Ability to understand system components dependencies, complex technical problems and work in a team and a client oriented environment.
· Good knowledge of Catia V5
· Proficiency of MS office suite;

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

· Design and integrate landing gear components, assemblies and systems to meet customer requirements;
· Identify component and system characteristics with respect to their individual requirements;
· Clearly identify, document and track compliancewith regulatory authority systems regulations and customer requirements;
· Prepare system, subsystem and component specifications, and system supplier technical SOW (statement of work);
· Identify component key characteristics;
· Review and approve subsystem and component supplier’s design and performance specification for compliance with Authority, MAI and Customer requirements and integrated system requirements.
· Review and approve subsystem and component supplier acceptance test procedures.
· Review and approve subsystem and component supplier’s development and qualification test procedures for compliance with MAI and Customer requirements and integrated system requirements
· Review and approve Reliability and Safety reports for compliance with regulatory requirements;
· Define test articles, test requirements and criteria for system internal development and qualification testing;
· Generate system performance reports;
· Manage sub-system suppliers;
· Monitor, coordinate and integrate the system design, development, test and certification activities of subsystem suppliers;
· Produce reports to substantiate systems compliance with A/C systems certification requirements, design integrity, function and safety of flight;
· Assist Cost Focal point in generating product cost data when required;
· Generate cost and time schedule estimates to plan overall project performance;
· Define test articles, test requirements and criteriafor internal development and qualification testing;
· Perform other duties as required.
