PART TIME HEAD OF TALENT

  • £50,000 – £60,000 pro rata + bonus

    Our client, a professional services firm, works with an enviable selection of national and international blue-chip and corporate clients across several specialisms. Due to their ongoing success, they plan to significantly increase their headcount and are looking for a part-time Head of Talent to design and execute their recruitment strategy.
    The Head of Talent will become the face of the business externally and will be a strong network builder – ensuring a pipeline of the market’s best talent whilst also working internally, to facilitate the induction, learning & development, and retention of the team.
    In return for the demands and expectation of this role, there is a market leading salary and benefits package on offer, plus the opportunity for CIPD sponsorship.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the firm’s growth plan through external recruitment and internal development & training
  • Leading recruitment across all levels and teams, developing effective sourcing and selection policies to facilitate this
  • Managing relationships with preferred recruitment partners and external organisations, working collaboratively to elevate the firm’s brand
  • Identifying and attracting the best talent whose values align to the firm’s
  • Ensuring the smooth onboarding and induction of new colleagues
  • Developing frameworks for capability-building across teams to support ongoing development, continuous learning, and succession planning
  • Organising internal staff mentoring and training, and identifying and building relationships external training providers
  • Monitoring staff engagement and implementing retention initiatives

The successful applicant should have:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ recruitment experience, ideally gained across agency and in-house roles
  • Degree educated
  • Experience of working with senior leadership teams and key stakeholders
  • Emotional intelligence and a keen drive to achieve
  • Proven networking ability
  • Interest in undertaking CIPD

This part-time Head of Talent is an opportunity for someone looking to work 25-30 hours a week. Due to our client’s flexible working approach, these hours can be worked over 3 full days or reduced hours over 5 days.
