QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical with minor in Industrial Engineering
  • Strong understanding of production of complex equipment and system integration
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements that include but not limited to manufacturing and Lean manufacturing
  • Ability to use strong skills in analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating problems
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing including machine capabilities and efficiencies, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and BOM.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power point and ability to learn new systems efficiently
  • Ability to learn and understand new system as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Assist Production Manager with daily production and quality activities. This role will especially focus on planning, production and inventory management part of the operation
  • Production and Planning
  • Understand manufacturing plan, prepare PSI and manage daily production
  • Prepare production reports and ensure both system and physical balance
  • Assists in the development and monitoring of operational processes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Work with Team Manager to create and execute a culture of continuous improvement
  • Responsible for executing immediate and proactive actions to correct financial, quality, and planning schedule variance.
  • Achieve established Production Performance Targets
  • Create and present reports to peers and management
    For an Associate large part of the job will entail proper data collection, data management, system entry and analysis. Overall, an Associate is trained and expected to learn operations by following and performing given tasks on a daily basis. An Associate is expected to perform other duties beyond what is stated above to ensure all set targets are achieved.
