JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastics injection molding and possess mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various machinery. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in plastics injection molding, with familiarity in related processes such as plastics blow molding and extrusion.
  • Knowledge of CNC machining processes is preferred, along with experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Experience in quality inspection processes within a manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Basic math skills are required for measuring and calculating material requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts.
  • Perform quality inspections on finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Set up and adjust machinery, including programmable logic controllers, to meet production specifications.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment, including CNC lathes, press brake machines, and other fabrication tools.
  • Utilize hand tools for assembly and materials handling tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices and improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
  • Document production data and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
