About the Role*
We are seeking a highly skilled Injection Molding Process Engineer to join our client’s manufacturing team. This role is responsible for ensuring safety, maximizing equipment uptime, reducing quality defects, and supporting production and maintenance teams with problem-solving to eliminate downtime.

Key Responsibilities*

  • Work with injection molding machines, tooling, and secondary equipment to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain and improve part quality while minimizing scrap.
  • Support process technicians and production teams in troubleshooting and process optimization.
  • Update manufacturing routines and work instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as QRCI and Lean methodologies.
  • Support new program launches by helping define production layouts, selecting equipment, and validating tooling.
  • Conduct capability studies and DOE (Design of Experiment) for new and existing processes.
  • Establish and maintain scientific molding processes.

Qualifications*

  • Proven experience in injection molding process engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of injection molding machines, tooling, and robotics.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting methodologies and continuous improvement processes.
  • Ability to analyze machine and process performance using studies and data.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
