JOB SUMMARY

• Set up injection moulding machines by installing moulds, adjusting machine settings, and configuring parameters for optimal production
• Operate injection moulding machines to produce plastic parts according to production schedules and quality standards
• Monitor the injection process, including temperature, pressure, and cycle times, to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Trim, deburr, and assemble plastic parts as needed.
• Keep accurate records of production output, downtime, and maintenance activities.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other team members to coordinate production activities and resolve issues.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
