Through proactive case management and stakeholder partnership, it reduces risk, supports compliance and promotes employee wellbeing.   In this role you will:  * Lead the end-to-end management of workplace injury, workers compensation and return to work cases, ensuring positive outcomes for employees and Council. * Partner with leaders across the organisation to provide expert advice on injury management, medical fitness and return to work strategies. * Collaborate with insurers, medical providers and other stakeholders to support timely recovery and sustainable return to work outcomes. * Drive continuous improvement of injury management programs, policies and processes in line with legislation and industry best practice. * Monitor claims performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to improve employee wellbeing and reduce organisational costs.
