About the role HealthFitness is hiring a fill-in (# of hours depends on demand) Injury Prevention Professional to join our team at client sites in Anna, OH and/or Russells Point, OH. This position is based in a manufacturing environment, so adaptability and a proactive approach are essential. Hours: # of hours depends on demand Schedule: Varies, shifts available between the hours of 12p-10p Supports the creation and implementation of programs focused on the prevention of work injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness. Key Accountabilities Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training. Develops exercise programs specific to injury prevention and conditioning needs. Collects and document appropriate program data to support the ROI process. Develop, promote, and market wellness and general education programs. Supports employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management. Other duties as needed/assigned. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or Exercise Science or other related field. Current Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute. Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. Preferred Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing). 2-3 years’ experience in corporate based health and fitness program. Understanding of Biomechanics, occupational safety and proficient in exercise prescription. Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. Compensation: $21 - $24/Hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
