Description
SAIC has an opportunity for an Innovation Engineer to join an elite Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) team supporting an innovations lab in Australia. We need a proactive, detail-oriented systems engineer with superior organizational skills. Relocation assistance is provided as well as housing stipend, cost of living, and other allowances for the duration of the tour. The successful candidate contributes to the success of the government and the SAIC team by:
- Providing technical and programmatic support to the government for all lab activities.
- Providing subject matter expertise to customer leadership on emerging technologies (including AI) and initiatives related to space systems capabilities.
- Advising customer and enterprise leadership on efficacy of planned lab initiatives (cost, schedule, performance, risk, and opportunities).
- Advising customer leadership on operational efficiencies, including systematic and innovative allocation of limited resources (e.g., personnel, power, space, and cooling).
- Representing customer in evaluating impacts to site architecture driven by capability changes and customer decisions; assesses innovative concepts and emerging lab capabilities for potential transition onto operational baselines.
